The Circle

Netflix - PR STUNT/OOH

Everyone loves British reality tv and The Circle is no exception. So we helped Netflix bring the competition to a new shore by giving everyone a little $incentive$ to tune in.


We kicked off the stunt with a billboard in Times Square on NYE, 2019, where we invited everyone to see just how much The Circle has to offer.

Here's how we put our money where our OOH was:

After visiting the link, users were instructed to enter their Venmo info to get paid $$.

The site then redirected each person to our Venmo page, so we could flex with our thousands of new friends.

 

We received over 11k friend requests, making The Circle the most friended account on Venmo.

Each payment we made appeared on Venmo’s global feed, so that even people who hadn’t seen the billboard could get in on the action.

We then followed up with our new friends for the release of parts 2 & 3 of the show, by sending them small cash reminders via Venmo.

The payments sent users a direct notification to tune in. Making the show top of mind again.
